Yay Area

first off i apologize for the no post yesterday. i will update and edit so it makes sense sequentially. further more, i must warn you that the following posts will have a million pictures.. well not a million, but as much as blogspot allows me to put up.. this post is long.. long cat long.

**if you see a picture you like, click on it. all the pictures come out great in full res**

we woke up to an awesome breakfast that ryan's uncle made us. spam, eggs, fried rice (siniaag to be exact), and sausage. took a shower and headed off to the bart station. lafayette, exit powell. we arrived around 1030. headed to wells fargo where justin was hit on by the worker. 'did you want me to help you setting up your checkings acccount? well ok, here's my card, feel free to call me." LOL hahahha.

aye tien, playing bubble breaker?

chillin on the bart, yellow line towards SFO, exit powell.

passed by the LV store. as you all know, they're getting
redone with new artists and shit. gotta admit, looks pretty dope

'no one mourns the wiiiicked!!"

after that we headed to HUF. damn didnt know they had a store in downtown.. but damn, pretty dope, 40% off. got two shirts for 30$. they have the vic-firth (drum sticks/head/mallet/whatever) font so i got one for shadd too. we then proceeded with our hypebeast conquest to THSF. POST. yeah 50% everything in the store, but couldn't find anything i really liked. the workers were complete douche's, telling us not to touch the clothes cause they had to fold them again. fags. and oh, i sat on a glass casing and almost broke it. yeah. even better.

THSF 50% everything. not bad.

so now we come to one of the main points in our agenda, visit the museum of modern art. SFMOMA. this was the shit. i do not regret this AT ALL. i<3sfmoma

first thing you see when you walk in sfmoma.

of course, everything is baller

i think this might be default pic worthy.

cool wall pattern in one of the rooms.

i stick out like a sore thumb... or like a twister board. either one

oil on canvas. no idea how. this was just awesome

this was the best thing there. its called the 1000journal project. blank journals,
they give you pens, markers, magazines, scissors... anything you want. you make your
own entry. thousands of entries. by far the coolest thing we saw or did there.

'hey rex, can you hear me?' .. 'OH YEEAAH"

legit

we did a lot of walking at SFMOMA, so to relax, we went across to the street, which i will now call the "3rd St Cut" this place was perfect. a small garden-ish area surrounded by fountains and wonderful architecture. places to sit or lay, and just relax. the falling water drowned out the normal sounds of a busy city, which made it a nice little getaaway. we spent a good hour just chilling here. me and benedicto kicked it. tien and cayabyab sketched.

3rd street cut

my view while i rested

the water was awesome.

random

..poly canyon?!?

next on the agenda was for tien to buy a bag from CHROME... expected cost? $200. yeah. lol. so we walked for a good while to 4th st and brannen to find the chrome store. they sell messenger bags and any other bags that you can throw on a messenger. bike porn galore. no doubt. good thing the bags were 40% off. ohh yeaaa babbyy.

the entrance was pretty sick

there were a SHITload of bags. tien jizzed his pants.

in the middle of the store. suspended and welded together

went to another bike shop, this bike was super clean

by the time we were done with chrome, our legs started giving out. so we went back to powell and ate at the mall. went to urban, h&m, forever21 (heritage.. lol), and just headed back to lafayette. we were pretty tired.. on the bart ride back, tien helped these old asian ladies find their exit. soooo kind. hahah

long day. long ride back.

got back 'hella' tired and ko'd. then liza came to scoop me up and take me to vallejo. we ate at a chinese place called Princess Garden. nothing like china town, but still pretty good. had a good dinner which leads me to where i currently am right now at liza's cousin's place in vallejo.

the usual, pan friend noodles with crispy chicken

beef and tomato soup on the house

if you somehow read the entire entry in one sitting without jabbing your eyes out with ice cream scoopers drenched in hot sauce, then kudos to you. i took a shitload more pictures than this. i am sorry if you were overwhelmed with text/pictures. but it was fun. hope you enjoyed. i know i did.

YAY ARRRREEEA
