Yay Area

first off i apologize for the no post yesterday. i will update and edit so it makes sense sequentially. further more, i must warn you that the following posts will have a million pictures.. well not a million, but as much as blogspot allows me to put up.. this post is long.. long cat long.

**if you see a picture you like, click on it. all the pictures come out great in full res**

we woke up to an awesome breakfast that ryan's uncle made us. spam, eggs, fried rice (siniaag to be exact), and sausage. took a shower and headed off to the bart station. lafayette, exit powell. we arrived around 1030. headed to wells fargo where justin was hit on by the worker. 'did you want me to help you setting up your checkings acccount? well ok, here's my card, feel free to call me." LOL hahahha.

aye tien, playing bubble breaker?

chillin on the bart, yellow line towards SFO, exit powell.

passed by the LV store. as you all know, they're getting
redone with new artists and shit. gotta admit, looks pretty dope

'no one mourns the wiiiicked!!"

after that we headed to HUF. damn didnt know they had a store in downtown.. but damn, pretty dope, 40% off. got two shirts for 30$. they have the vic-firth (drum sticks/head/mallet/whatever) font so i got one for shadd too. we then proceeded with our hypebeast conquest to THSF. POST. yeah 50% everything in the store, but couldn't find anything i really liked. the workers were complete douche's, telling us not to touch the clothes cause they had to fold them again. fags. and oh, i sat on a glass casing and almost broke it. yeah. even better.

THSF 50% everything. not bad.

so now we come to one of the main points in our agenda, visit the museum of modern art. SFMOMA. this was the shit. i do not regret this AT ALL. i<3sfmoma

first thing you see when you walk in sfmoma.

of course, everything is baller

i think this might be default pic worthy.

cool wall pattern in one of the rooms.

i stick out like a sore thumb... or like a twister board. either one

oil on canvas. no idea how. this was just awesome

this was the best thing there. its called the 1000journal project. blank journals,
they give you pens, markers, magazines, scissors... anything you want. you make your
own entry. thousands of entries. by far the coolest thing we saw or did there.

'hey rex, can you hear me?' .. 'OH YEEAAH"

legit

we did a lot of walking at SFMOMA, so to relax, we went across to the street, which i will now call the "3rd St Cut" this place was perfect. a small garden-ish area surrounded by fountains and wonderful architecture. places to sit or lay, and just relax. the falling water drowned out the normal sounds of a busy city, which made it a nice little getaaway. we spent a good hour just chilling here. me and benedicto kicked it. tien and cayabyab sketched.

3rd street cut

my view while i rested

the water was awesome.

random

..poly canyon?!?

next on the agenda was for tien to buy a bag from CHROME... expected cost? $200. yeah. lol. so we walked for a good while to 4th st and brannen to find the chrome store. they sell messenger bags and any other bags that you can throw on a messenger. bike porn galore. no doubt. good thing the bags were 40% off. ohh yeaaa babbyy.

the entrance was pretty sick

there were a SHITload of bags. tien jizzed his pants.

in the middle of the store. suspended and welded together

went to another bike shop, this bike was super clean

by the time we were done with chrome, our legs started giving out. so we went back to powell and ate at the mall. went to urban, h&m, forever21 (heritage.. lol), and just headed back to lafayette. we were pretty tired.. on the bart ride back, tien helped these old asian ladies find their exit. soooo kind. hahah

long day. long ride back.

got back 'hella' tired and ko'd. then liza came to scoop me up and take me to vallejo. we ate at a chinese place called Princess Garden. nothing like china town, but still pretty good. had a good dinner which leads me to where i currently am right now at liza's cousin's place in vallejo.

the usual, pan friend noodles with crispy chicken

beef and tomato soup on the house

if you somehow read the entire entry in one sitting without jabbing your eyes out with ice cream scoopers drenched in hot sauce, then kudos to you. i took a shitload more pictures than this. i am sorry if you were overwhelmed with text/pictures. but it was fun. hope you enjoyed. i know i did.

Canon SD 1100

oh, since this happened this morning at around 2am, i guess it goes in today's blog. couldnt sleep cause the wind was so loud. thats what we get for living in the canyon. so tien was hungry. and of course had to make our new classic dirty dogs.

hot dogs wrapped in bacon. not quite the new craze online where its 4lbs of bacon wrapped in sausage, but this isn't minus 30years of our life... maybe just minus 3years but its all good

i woke up an hour late for csc, didn't really give a shit. i have dope group members. after that, had some lunch with jazzy and edwin. went to backstage. haha edwin's salad was only 1$ cheaper than my salad+pizza+soda. he put like bricks of tomato and beans in that shit to make it super heavy. i had a slice of bbq pizza, salad, and cup of dr pepper. cant go wrong.

jazzy was picking her nose.. i mean putting on chapstick

everyone enjoying their well deserved food.

then i went to bishops study lounge. forreal, if you ever need to get work done, need some quiet time, or just need some sleep. go there. perfect place. i see the same people there, some are always knocked out. its a great place. kicked it there for a bit, read, and took a light nap. after a bit, tien gave me a call and we hung out outside:

of course, the bike is always lookin fresh

bike lookin fresh, don't know if i can say the same about justtien.. thats just really.. yeah

lets see... then i went to physics, hung out. went to english and took my grammar quiz. got back to the place and i had the weirdest combo of foods. siapo, carrots, and a hot dog... yea.. i don't know whats up with that, but i guess its college. gotta do what you gotta do. i had a mean stomach ache after and really felt like throwing up. you should definitely try it

by then i was super tired, took a nap. the roommates all went to farmer's market, which i bet was fun =[, but i stayed behind and 'studied' when in fact i was suckered into going to Michelle's for some bomb ass pho and COD5. nazi zombies was 'hella' fun according to all the yay-area people over there. met two new people, Kimberley and Glen. pretty cool people. but wow. the most legit Asian food in slo. is corralitos 306.. 2nd best eatery to corralitos 308.

i guess pho is better sideways? lol again, lame formatting. but wow,
this was just so amazing. i miss good food like this

it was a fucking feast over there. there was other tasty treats
that regrettably i didn't get to try. =[

so after that, went to the study lounge with the mais and studied for physics and chem. i guess it really is true, teaching the material to someone furthers your own understanding of the material. i feel confident for the midterm which is always a good feeling. got back to find the roomies all working out so i took off my shirt and we all started lifting weights and doing pushups. ahhah. i think i'll regret that decision in the morning when my arms feel like they weigh a ton.

My Free Day

awww, why is this here? i have no idea

so like every other morning, i had serious trouble getting up for class. seeing as how im extremely tired right now, and not sleeping.. i predict it to happen again. chemistry today was pretty lame cause our specto-box thingy wasn't working. it was an experiment where we're supposed to observe the diffraction gradient of certain gases(argon, neon, hg). it was cool once we got it working... we stole the sample box made by another professor.

physics midterm friday. i want to murder it. OH SHITAKE MUSHROOMS! i didnt go to the fuckin job fair. !!! AHHH shit, i dont think i'll make it tomorrow either. lame. im giving up life opportunities for.. what? a grade? but isnt that counter-intuitive? dont we aim for good grades to get us a fucking job? and here i am, passing up potential jobs for my grade? reminds me of Camus and the myth of Sisyphus

much of our life is built on the hope for tomorrow yet tomorrow brings us closer to death and is the ultimate enemy; people live as if they didn't know about the certainty of death

"The struggle itself...is enough to fill a man's heart.
One must imagine Sisyphus happy." - Albert Camus

wow this formatting is retarded, but lets work with it shall we? so nothing much really happened.. got back and had the huge urge to play some l4d. checked out suan's place as a potential for next year.. yeah. not gonna happen. hahaha looking for something else.

my view from the library today
for no reason whatsoever, i decided to go and sit outside.. it was nice and cold. the breeze pierced the exposed parts of my skin. damn it was cold.

peters? peets? parakeet- coffee?

think i'll end the post with another pretty sky.

today class was cancelled

spent most of the day inside. i was so tired this morning during comp science. and to make things worse, i biked up the hill and took a fat nap. i woke up feeling like caca. made myself two eggs, fried rice(i hate you kenneth), and bacon. instant picker-upper for me. english was canceled today. perhaps the only plus to my day.

once again, i am rather tired to write. chem lab/mastering physics is the double sided dildo that rapes me in the ass every Tuesday night...

ordered bulk american apparel again. carrying that shit with my bike was the biggest bitch.. i dropped my bike, got a door slammed on me, and looked like a crazy person to those passing by

there was a shit load of clothes.. i think the total was around $400. not all mine of course.

made the curry dish again today. no picture of the final product, but damn it was good. got a thing of pot roast, cut it into thin slices. pan fry. drizzle some of this magical sauce on it. viola. baller ass food.

reevaluation is always a good thing

heres the book thats also been consuming my life. except that i actually like it. first its there. then blink. gone. go read it. havent read in a while, so this is a nice exception. really. go read it.
